"All you need to make a film is a girl and a gun"......  This pretty much sums up Bande a Part (The Outsiders) the cult nouvelle vague French flic by Jean Luc Godard in 1964

Odile the 'girl' played effortlessly chic by (Godards Danish wife) Anna Karina; befriends a couple of Les Drugstore minets wanabe mobsters Arthur & Franz.  Trawling the 1960's Parisian streets and cafe scene, hatching a plan for a robbery.

The films wardrobe and Gallic cool, inspired a beaucoup of things from; an American clothing brand name & Quentin Tarantino's production company name.  Probably one of the most iconic dance scenes in cinema and a killer musical score by Michel Legrand.
